FAMILY LIFE AND COUPLE’S MINISTRY
Persons are created as relational beings to exist in co-humanity as male and female, not male or female. “God created man in his image, male and female created he them” (Gen. 1:27).
Jesus Christ is alive in the world today, not in some ethereal, new-age sense of the term, but in the mystery of the church as the people of God, a people who live in relationship with one another as family and with those in the world around them. Our Family Life and Couples Ministry intends to meet and transform lives, one home at a time through God’s Love. We can show you how marriage is created out of divine order, is based on a covenant relationship, reflects our relationship with God and truly has a greater impact in our lives than many have assumed.
STUDENTS MINISTRY
Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Knowing that, we believe that NOW is the time to enlighten this generation. At ALCC, we not only instill the word of God in our youth and young adults, we discuss real-life issues encouraging the youth to apply their biblical knowledge to such situations during our “huddle Meetings.” We believe that knowledge is power and that holds ever so true in regards to the word of God. We also believe it is important to spend time with friends and we have many outings, retreats and chill nights to do just that. Please feel free to bring your children, family members and neighbor’s to experience this exhilarating, enlightening and empowering ministry.
KIDS MINISTRY
Abounding Love Christian Center (ALCC) Children’s ministry focuses on the spiritual development and growth of our children. We believe in Proverbs 22:6 for we should, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” We know that the children are the future of society and ALCC, and their spiritual growth and ability to apply biblical principles are critical to the betterment of humanity. Our goal is to develop our children to be leaders inside and outside church walls.
INTERCESSOR’S MINISTRY
1 Tim 2:1 “I urge, then first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour” In church culture it is often stated, “Pray Until Something Happens…” this body of believers entails a group dedicated to just that. Our sole focus is to stand in the gap lifting up our voice in prayer to invite God’s intervening presence into our lives.
MEN OF VALOR AND EXCELLENCE (M.O.V.E.)
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
Meeting at various times our ALCC Men (M.O.V.E) gather monthly to "sharpen" one another in their roles as leaders, husbands, and fathers. This body of believers challenge men to dig deep in their spiritual lives in order to fulfill the calling God has placed in them. Our goal is to see men who are:
Growing spiritually because they are spending time daily with God in prayer and in His word (Mark 1: 35; Acts 4:13; Luke 9:23).
Making their wife and children a priority (Prov 31:10-31; Deut 6:1-6).
Committing to personal purity and accountability (2 Timothy 2:2).
Comfortably expressing their love and concern for one another (Rom 12:10; 1 Corinth-ians 13:1-3; John 13:34-35).
Being authentic and real with one another (James 5:16).
Displaying a lifestyle of Christian witness by living out the principles of Eternal CPR (Matthew 28:19-20).
Actively involved in making a spiritual difference in the lives of other men in their circles of influence (Proverbs 27:17; 2 Timothy 2:2; Hebrews 10:24).
Consistently taking to God, and bathing, everything in prayer (Ephesians 6:18; Colossians 4:2,12).
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
"But a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30b
The purpose of the ALCC Women’s Ministry is to encourage women to study and apply God's principles in their daily lives, to provide opportunities for fellowship and sharing, to provide opportunities for building relationships with women outside the body of Christ and to equip women with skills to be effective in sharing the Gospel. One of our most anticipated events is our monthly prayer gatherings which are fun filled times of spiritual refreshing open to visitors.
“TLC” HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
1 Peter 4:9-10 states, “Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God serve one another with whatever gift each of you have received.” We the ALCC “TLC” Hospitality Ministry will promote good will among those who serve and attend church services by facilitating community sharing of God’s divine substance among members and visitors. We are here for you, so get comfortable!
ALCC VOICES & THE SOUND
2 Chronicles 5:13 states, ”The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: ‘He is good; his love endures forever.’ Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud”
“To worship You I live, To worship You I live, I live to worship You…” We are collection of voices, instruments, and sounds inspired by God to use the universal language of music to minister the universal love of God. Our worship is contemporary and real, yet intimately traditional, and more than just music…its ministry…and we are ALCC Voices and The Sound.
MISSIONS MINISTRY
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)..."
Abounding Love Christian Center is committed to a global objective of spreading the gospel. We currently support many missions impacting nations around the world. The purpose of our missions program is based firmly on Scripture. It can be summed up in 3 objectives:
1. To share the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
2. To share Christ's compassion for a lost world (Matthew 9:35-38)
3. To minister to human need wherever we find it (Matthew 25:31-46)
In addition to our support of various missionaries, we are also engaged in community service projects, evangelizing God’s great gift of kindness in our neighborhoods.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Ranging from the visitor’s packets to updating the church bulletin, the ALCC Outreach Ministry has been developed to communicate with you. Our goal is to provide seamless transmittal of upcoming events, services, volunteer opportunities, and much more via flyers and other marketable resources. This ministry will bare the harvest of all our auxiliary church campaigns, including the launch of our church website!
